Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic shows. At age 16 she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense vocal instruction. Music lessons continued throughout the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. After 2000, she emigrated back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007 she moved to her home in southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being a local performer and instructor, her love of art and music has her engaged in a wide range of projects. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for the opportunity to share her love and love for traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire to, particularly in the younger age group to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
