Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. Since her teenage years the singer has been a participant in pop flamenco and music. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul and Trap. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice as one that was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which has been a commercial and critical success. After Los Angeles, her debut album from 2017, she was awarded a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami the third album by her was a collaboration with songwriting partners Cory Henry and James Blake. The set came out in on March 20, 2022 following an Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer who performed as a solo performer on the show. Motomami's Rosalia, who won an award for the Latin Album of the Year and 3 Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman to do so.
