Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress, best famous for her role in Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Hai Koun, and Beta Saajan. In the 80s when she started her acting career and became popular with the role of Tezaab which she played alongside an established actor Anil Kapooor. She next appeared in the movie Dil where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. In her early years she began developing her skills at a young age. When she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot of her films were flops. She eventually found success and became one of the leading actresses on the Indian film industry. After marriage, she experienced a break in her career before re-entering the business. In the last few years, Dixit had a major role to play as a character in Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggle of Indian women. Dixit has been nominated for the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India, was bestowed upon Dixit. Her name is well-known for her work in the field of social service as well.
